Dr. Janice Wang

  • Wang graduated in 1995 from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She has been actively teaching colleagues and peers the fundamentals of implant placement since 2005.
  • Once exposed to the benefits of implant dentistry, she became eager to focus her career on this area. Early on, it was evident to her that to become good at implant dentistry, once must be good at grafting. By learning bone management and augmentation, one can accomplish great things with implants
  • With over 2,000 placements to-date, and hundreds of grafting cases, her experience is comprehensive.
  • Additionally, by purchasing a practice that was already focused on placing implants, she has been exposed to a large variety of manufacturers and is able to troubleshoot many of the older implant systems.
  • Wang has performed all types of advanced procedures including socket grafting, ridge augmentation and sinus augmentation (crestal and lateral approach). She is able to tackle problematic situations that sometimes arise from implants and prosthetic components placed long ago, as well as take corrective measures for non-ideal placements.
  • From running an implant study club to mentoring novice dentists, Dr. Wang can help accelerate your knowledge and experience by teaching you to avoid implant complications and setbacks.
  • Wang has been retained as expert witness for implant defense cases and holds membership in the CCDS,CDA,ADA and AAID.
