Course Objective:

Help your patients and practice by providing single-office treatments for implant overdentures. This course is designed for general dentists who already placed implants and would like to understand the surgical implications of implant placement with the end goal of an overdenture. The course will also offer a hands-on portion where a mandibular complete denture is converted into an overdenture with two locator abutments and attachments. Step-by-step surgical and prosthetic techniques will be presented and discussed, as well as case selection for delayed and immediate loading for overdentures.

• Maintenance of overdenture vs maintenance of fixed hybrid
• Locators vs. Bar
• Immediate vs. delayed loading in the mandible
• Chairside pickup vs. lab incorporating the attachments
