Course Objective:
This session provides a comprehensive overview of the anatomy, biology, and blood supply of peri-implant soft tissue and vestibular depth. It also covers the indications, guidelines, and surgical protocols for advanced soft tissue procedures and the diagnosis and treatment plan for soft tissue grafts for predictable results. The key principles in flap design, basic and advanced soft tissue suturing, and implant-related soft tissue augmentation procedures to increase the zone of the keratinized gingiva are discussed in detail. This information is essential for clinicians to successfully perform soft tissue augmentation procedures and achieve optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes in implant dentistry.
