Apply knowledge of Guided Surgery software to treatment planning for dental implant cases

Utilize a Guided Surgery kit to improve accuracy of implant placement

1.  Introduction to Guided Surgery

2.  CT Analysis and Interpretation

  • What is a cone beam CT scan?
  • Learning to interpret axial, sagittal and cross-sectional cuts
  • Identifying significant anatomical structures

3.  Utilization of Guided Surgery Software

  • Introduction to planning software
  • Utilization of software tools (nerve mapping, measuring distance, sinus evaluation)
  • Planning for an accurate surgical stent

4.  Guided Surgery Implant Protocol and Case Presentation

  • How to use a Guided Implant Surgery kit
  • Case presentation





  • Sample treatment planning utilizing guided software
  • Drilling on models utilizing a surgical guided stent



Each participant must bring their own Windows or Mac laptop for hands-on
